This Privacy Policy explains how CrawlDesk collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website and Service.

  • Account data: name and email address you provide on signup.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the Service, for product analytics and support.
  • Website data you submit: URLs, sitemaps and page content we crawl to perform the analysis.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, cookies.

3. How we use your data

  • to provide, operate and improve the Service;
  • to communicate with you about your account, support and service updates;
  • to ensure security and prevent abuse;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process personal data on the bases of performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (where required, e.g. for certain cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Payments

Our order process and payments are handled by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”). Paddle is the seller of record for all orders and handles all payment, billing, tax collection, refunds and related customer support on our behalf. Paddle processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We never receive or store your card details.

6. Data hosting and international transfers

Customer data is hosted on servers located in the European Union.

Some data may be processed outside the EU: by Paddle in the United Kingdom (covered by a UK adequacy decision) and by the service operator in Ukraine. Where a country is not covered by an EU adequacy decision (including Ukraine), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards.

We use essential cookies to operate the site and may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it, subject to legal retention requirements.
